Dugina murder heralds more bombings

It’s also six months into a war which was never necessary, and which has cost thousands of lives and a great deal of treasure. One of the clearest summaries of the story so far is in the Washington Post today. The paper also publishes the powerful story of a Russian soldier’s diary under the headline “I will not participate in this madness.”

The main focus is on the murder of Darya Dugina Russia bombarded Ukraine with unusual severity yesterday pounding positions near Zaporizhia and firing cruise missiles into Odessa. With so much new tension in the air, all parties are worried about the danger of a nuclear disaster at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in Crimea.
