Our brilliant and tireless colleague in Sofia, Irena Nedeva, AEJ Special Representative on Disinformation and Fake News, alerts us to an online conference on the subject tomorrow: 08.30 to 13.00 CET.

Irena says there will be there will be English translation of discussion with some of Bulgaria’s best IT experts on the subject with whom the AEJ has worked in the past.
This conference, focussed on practical issues, should also be useful to educators involved in developing media and information literacy programmes, and the ways that AI and other technologies can help society to free itself from the fog of nonsense on the Internet.
In addition to leading the Association of European Journalists – Bulgaria, Irena is also a senior editor at BNR – Bulgarian National Public Radio.
