Lecture with a focus on the fight against misinformation by Christine Lord (IREX)
An online lecture for journalists on “Fighting misinformation: what have we learned so far?” , organized by the US Embassy in Bulgaria and AEJ-Bulgaria on February 25, 2022 from 14:30 to 15:30 Central European Time (Paris).

The speaker will be Christine Lord, President and CEO of the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX), a non-profit organization specializing in education and social development. The Lord’s work is focused on strengthening the role of institutions, supporting young people and combating misinformation. She is actively involved in the Learn to Discern program for global opposition to misinformation and misinformation.

The moderator of the event will be Maria Cheresheva, a freelance journalist and a member of the Board of AEJ-Bulgaria. Jeffrey Weinschenker, Public Affairs Adviser at the US Embassy in Bulgaria, will open the session.

The event will be in English and no translation is provided. Access is free, but pre-registration is required here until 15:00 on February 24, 2022.
