One of the more unusually foolish UK Conservative ex-ministers came up with this phrase about the ongoing soap-opera of British politics. It is made the more dramatic, or idiotic, by the sudden return of disgraced ex-premier Boris Johnson from his holiday in the Dominican Republic. Sky News, whose tv team were on the plane, reported that the sunburn-red former journalist was loudly booed by other passengers on the plane. But there was no violence.
