Otmar Lahodynsky, EU expert and three-term AEJ President (2014 – 21), was unanimously elected Honorary President of the Association at 
its online General Assembly. A seasoned former Brussels correspondent, broadcaster and writer on Europe, notably for the Austrian news magazine profil he thanked all sections for their support during his long involvement with the Association. It had been a great honour, he said. He wished his successor, President Saia Tsaousidou, and Gen. Secretary Edward Steen, all the best in strengthening and expanding the AEJ during and beyond its 60th anniversary year. As president, Otmar organised four seminars with the European Parliament and is helping to make a success of another one in spring 2022.
