Journalists everywhere are urged to join the Belarus Association of Journalists and members of the Association of European Journalists in signing the Petition to free Anton Surapin. Surapin has been detained since July 13 after he published online pictures of the teddy bears dropped from a plane in a campaign to draw world attention to the unacceptable constraints on free expression in Belarus.
