In Istanbul, there is a huge event, co-organised by Dogan Tilic (AEJ Turkey) and with AEJ Vice-President Javier Arribas (Spain) as the first main speaker! The subject is Media Freedom in Turkey. In London a meeting in the Thomson-Reuters Auditorium (Canary Warf) about Arab Spring 2011: The Freedom to Report with William Horsley (AEJ UK) as one of the main speakers. AEJ Belgium cooperates with API (the association of Brussels based EU correspondents) and has a meeting with Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights. AEJ Italia will spend special attention to murdered journalists by mafia and terrorism. To many to mention all AEJ (co-)activities but let us mention the other countries where the AEJ will be active on WPFD: in Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Armenia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Hungary.
