The AEJ Media Freedom Representative and AEJ Secretary-General have written to the Polish Interior Minister asking for his personal attention to ensure proper protection for a young freelance journalist who suffered a violent assault, apparently for his work.
The AEJ calls for a thorough and transparent police investigation to bring to justice those responsible for the attack and for issuing other threats.
