Hosted by the Greek AEJ section, 25 members of the executive committee had a fruitful meeting in Athens. Most important decisions taken were to start officially with the new style website, to approve the financial report 2008 and to appoint Christos Trikoukis as deputy secretary-general of the association. Other important subjects: an evaluation of the AEJ Congress 2008 in Linz; the theme for the AEJ Congress 2009 in Maastricht and how the AEJ sections can approach World Press Freedom Day 2009.
