Highlights of the AEJ Annual Congress in Linz are a meeting on Friday 21 November with the Vice-Mayor of the city of Linz, Erich Watzl, and the programme-chief Martin Heller for a presentation of LINZ09-Cultural Capital of Europe 2009 and a presentation of the Upper Austria Economy by Landesrat Viktor Sigl and President of Federation of Industry, Haindl-Grutsch.

Later an open AEJ debate about ’Journalism Now: What Values, What Trust?’. Chair in the afternoon is William Horsley, AEJ Media Freedom Representative.
