University professor of political and economic journalism, Guiseppe Jacobini founded and continues to direct Il Giornale Europeo. 
He has written for Italian newspapers on economics and finance, and been a chief editor at RAI public television, TV presenter, economic columnist on international television programmes, and author. He has also worked in partnership with The Economist.
