The “For Diversity. Against Discrimination” Journalist Award showcases the talents of those journalists (from both online and printed media), who through their writing, contribute to a better understanding of the benefits of diversity and the fight against discrimination. For the fifth successive year, submissions are invited for this European competition. Also this year the European Commission dedicates a Special Award to one specific theme: discrimination against the Roma community – a community which frequently suffer from racist violence, hate speech and discrimination.
