The Strasbourg court European has granted exceptional ‘interim measures’ in an urgent case brought by Ukraine against Russia. The injunction calls on both Russia and Ukraine to refrain from military action or other measures which would violate the rights of the civilian population under the European Convention on Human Rights or put their life and health at risk.
