The City of Linz, Cultural Capital of Europe 2009, will host the AEJ Congress and Annual General Assembly 2008. The Austrian AEJ section and in particular its President Otmar Lahodynsky worked hard on it and succeeded. Delegates of all 24 AEJ sections plus special relations and guests will gather in Linz from November 20 till 23. Freedom of the Media in Europe is foreseen as one of the congress themes, prepared and presented by AEJ Media Freedom Representative William Horsley.
