On WPFD many sections of the AEJ were active. For instance: in Paris, Roma and London (click here for the UK section report) lectures and meetings; in Ankara a declaration, in cooperation with other organisations of journalists, on laws restricting the freedom of the press. Also a declaration in Brussels, with a request to the European Parliament to campaign for the end of discriminatory U.N. media accreditation policy against Taiwanese journalists (click here for text).
